The Make-A-Wish Gala is a wine and food tasting fundraiser for children with life threatening diseases. This year’s theme was “Uncork a Wish.” The event, held in Santa Monica’s Barker Hanger, had never used signage for the event. Signage was developed to showcase volunteering restaurants and vineyards, for way finding and to help promote the fundraising aspect. The event was one of the most successful yet.
Canyon Ranch, a well known wellness retreat, and Cleveland Clinic, a world class hospital, were researching the possibility of a collaborative project; the Center for Optimal Health. A tea theme was developed as an allegory to the blending of specialties, and invitation sets were sent out, each with two tea bags and information cards.
